St. Patricks Day Puzzle

This will help your preschooler practice her cutting and cognitive skills.

Materials Required

• Medium sized shamrock on green construction paper (photocopy template)
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue (optional)
• Large piece of paper (optional)

Method

1. Have your child draw 3 to 5 lines across the shamrock in various directions.
2. Your child can now cut along the lines to create puzzle pieces.
3. Help your child build their new puzzle. If desired glue it back together onto the large sheet of paper.

TIP: If your child enjoys this and wants to do more or needs a more challenging puzzle use other templates (rainbow, leprechaun, pot of gold) or give them a colour copy of themselves to make a puzzle!
