Egg Carton Snowman Craft
This is a great way to reuse something that otherwise might end up in the landfill - egg cartons. A fun craft for a wintery day.
What you need:
- Egg carton (two three-bump sections)
- Short stick approx 7" (or chenille stem)
- Tape
- White glue
- Small Dish
- 2-3" pieces of white tissue paper or paper towel
- brown or black paper circles (a hole punch makes a good size)
- small orange paper triangle (approx 1")
- Scrap of fabric (10-15" x 1/2")
- black fine tip marker
What you do:
- Place two sections of egg carton together. Slide stick between top bump and center bump. Tape together.
- Dilute white glue half and half with water. Dip tissue paper pieces into glue mixture and lay on egg carton, tucking around bumps.
- Add circle eyes, buttons, and triangle mouth.
- Allow to dry. Draw on mouth if desired.
